Description
The phycocyanin is a water-soluble dark blue powder isolated from spirulinais, non-toxic, pure blue, clear and lovelyusually also classified into C-phycocyanin and R-phycocyanin. The former is mainly present in cyanobacteria, while the latter is mainly present in red algae, both of which are present in cryptophyta.
